Post Congress Tour II: Bavaria and Baden Württemberg
07 – 09.08.2010
On this short tour you get to know typical livestock breeding farms in southern Germany. Among the visits planned are:
- Sheep breeding farm with a herd-book stock of Suffolk and Black Headed Meat Sheep Dairy farm with ca. 110 dairy cows and own breeding bulls
- Association for artificial insemination in Neustadt-Aisch with bull and boar station
- Agricultural farm with awarded breeding of Limpurger breed
- Sheep breeding farm with herd-book stock of Merino sheep (landscape conservation)
- Brown Cattle breeding farm
- Main Bavarian Country Stud with stallion depot, academy, research station and centre for horse-keeping, sale of horses bred and raised in the facilities
The technical visits will be interspersed with excursions showing the rich heritage of German culture. For example, there will be a guided tour of Neuschwanstein Castle and a city walk in the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

- comfort travel-coach from Leipzig to Munich including all day-trips
